Centenary Celebration Comes To An End
We would like to thank Chung Ling Board of Director for inviting us to organised the centenary stamp exhibition. Specials thanks to all members and volunteers who help out during the exhibition. Our exhibition was a success thanks for the help from Chung Ling High School Philatelic Society, we hope that we made our weekend miserable but the exhibition a memorable event.
Preparation work on the day before (17/6/2017)
Not forget to mention about the sales of our exhibition covers, the respond was overwhelming. We printed 1000 covers and 700 of them were sold. The covers are sold at RM6 together with stamps, RM3 for only the covers. Unfortunately our second cachet was spoiled on the next day of exhibition leaving disappointment to some collectors
Here are some ready made exhibition and private covers for sharing. Our covers were designed by Mac Lee, the second picture showing Mac holding his autographed cover.
Beside exhibition covers, we were also help the sales of the ready made souvenir covers by the board of directors.
