You may realized that the China stamps do not follow many other countries that their early stamp normally used the king or queen's portrait (肖像) on the stamps. This is because China treated his emperor as the son send by God (天子) ，stamps may be simply throw away or treated in other not respect way, so replace by the dragon as symbol to the royal family.
